Hello! My name is Lexi Darnell and I will be teaching 10th Grade English, 12th Grade English, and Journalism this year!

This is my second year teaching at William Fleming High School, and I am very excited for what is to come this school year! I graduated from both undergrad and graduate school from the University of Mary Washington (my bachelor's is in English Literature and my master's is in Education), and grew up in a small town called Lovettsville that is in the absolute middle of nowhere. I have lived in Roanoke for one full year and I absolutely love how the city combines rural and urban areas seamlessly. I have a puppy and he is the light of my life, and in my spare time, I am running around with him or reading and watching TV.
