Greetings! My name is Mr. Schuh. As a former student of RCPS myself, my most important goal as an educator is to enrich our community and make my own contributions to our beautiful city by engaging the English Language Learner (ELL) population, by building upon their English abilities so that they are able to actively participate in our society, and by monitoring the composition of their moral compass.
I believe that Roanoke City is a melting pot for success. Our school system is constantly working to improve the lives of parents, teachers, and students within our community while simultaneously inspiring academic rigor. In the short time that I have spent working at the high school which I myself graduated from just over six years ago, I have seen a continuation of these values and a continuation of professionalism and staff who genuinely care about the success/wellbeing of their students. I am more proud now than ever to call myself a Colonel!
