This is a college level course built on knowledge of first year chemistry. Topics include an in-depth studies of atomic theory, states of matter, electrochemistry, kinetics, chemical reactions and equilibrium. Extensive laboratory work is expected, as are formal laboratory reports.  College credit may be awarded as a result of the score on the required AP Chemistry examination.
